The holidays bring a flurry of visitors and guests alike. As you gather, eat and converse, Christmas centerpieces may be in order to spread the cheer. An array of holiday food is the center of the family table in a traditional holiday style. However, here a few quick Christmas centerpiece ideas to create fun or fancy holiday decorations until we give you more specifics.
- Start with a mound of fresh flowers and greens, then add a few Christmas tree ornaments to correlate with the holiday decor.
- A collection of your favorite candlesticks or votives between a spray of Christmas boughs is a simple clean look.
- Take a beautiful old ceramic or glass – possibly metal – container and fill it with potpourri or all occasion balls that can transition to Christmas balls.
- Use a holiday candle with a base of fall leaves or artificial snow, depending on the occasion or holiday. If using snow you can also add some of your favorite holiday keepsakes to add texture.
I recommend creating your Christmas table decorations in a container that can easily be moved without disrupting it’s style or contents. Whether you want to blend the old with the new, elegant and rustic, or formal and fun, your holiday centerpiece can take on a meaning all of its own.
